Case Studies for communications experts Twist Consultants

Jo Twiselton runs Twist Consultants, a results-focused communications consultancy for clients in the facilities management sector. Jo is no stranger to writing great marketing material, but, like many small business owners, finds it difficult to stand back and be objective when it comes to writing about her own company. She instructed me to write Twist's case studies.

You can find them here:

(More to follow shortly).

Jo knows her niche market inside out and provides real value to client businesses through powerful communications. The approach we've taken is to create case studies that provide valuable information to her clients, clearly showing the benefit they get from their investment in expert communications.

I interview her contacts about each project - asking them for their views on Twist's service and the results it has delivered. All those I've interviewed to date have been extremely helpful, taking the time to give positive and constructive feedback on Jo's projects.

We add additional value with the inclusion of tips for best practice on each subject covered. This 'educational' approach to the case studies is useful to the reader and proves Twist's expertise in the subject.

Jo uses these case studies as marketing collateral on her website, as door openers for new leads and to back up her sales approaches and tenders.

Here's what Jo has to say about the process:

"Although my day job is communications, it’s tricky to be objective when writing your own case studies and so engaging Sonja for this was an important step for Twist. She has quickly got under the skin of our business helping to turn what we do into clear, understandable and relevant messages that I can use to drive sales.

I have had extremely positive feedback about Sonja from clients – a key concern when you’re introducing a third party to your clients. Her understanding of marketing has been invaluable throughout the process – she can see things from the viewpoint of a smaller company and understands the challenges this can bring from a marketing perspective."
